Spring Greetings! This month, learn about a new trip to Costa Rica, help protect sea turtles in Australia, help us spread the word about our sweepstakes, and find out what is a sea turtle's favorite meal.
We've just added a new trip to Costa Rica with EcoTeach. Spend 3 nights working with leatherback turtles, visit an indigenous reserve and family farm, as well as whitewater rafting and Arenal volcano. Cost is $1,650 per person and the trip is June 23 - July 3, 2010. Of this, $415 goes to support conservation and local communities. See the full itinerary here.
Spread the word about our Sweepstakes!
Many of you joined our enewsletter to enter our sweepstakes to win a free turtle trip to Costa Rica or Baja. We are giving away a spot on one of our conservation tours, as well as chocolate, recycled plastic bags, and more. Only new subscribers are eligible, but you can help us spread the word by forwarding this message to your friends.

Act Now to Save Turtle Habitat in Costa Rica
The Costa RIcan government has proposed to downgrade the protections of Las Baulas National Park, one of the most important leatherback nesting beaches on the Pacific ocean. Reducing the protections would allow for more development in the park, threatening the remaining turtles that come there to nest. Having worked in Las Baulas, I can attest first hand to the importance of maintaining park protections. Learn more and take action here.
